In the 5th match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Corleone to maneuver through the defense. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Bammerman in the 11th minute of play. Alvaro Raymond might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alaaddin Solskjær. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Raymond ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alaaddin Solskjær having to make a save. In the 26th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Raymond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Alaaddin Solskjær made a huge save. 33 minutes into the game, Alvaro Raymond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alaaddin Solskjær was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jörgen Levander scored 2-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Selatse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Lars Bammerman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kees Harmsen hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörgen Levander to strike the kick off in the second half. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Bammerman in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Lars Bammerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Bammerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Raymond might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alaaddin Solskjær. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Raymond ran back to his position shaking his head. Alaaddin Solskjær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 56th minute of play. Iwan Kasiewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Jörgen Levander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kurdistan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Despidida AFC's Esteve Urtungo was substituted for Ancho Branca. Despidida AFC's Arturo Arano was substituted for Kajetan Gdowik. FC Kurdistan's Nils Hopp was substituted for Roberto-Carlos da Silva. Despidida AFC's Robert Percha was substituted for Alvaro Raymond. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Sundström in the 70th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwan Kasiewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. After 72 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Percha. Despidida AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Iwan Kasiewski scored to the left of an out of position Fernando Selatse, making the score, 2-4. In the 89th minute, Lars Sundström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kurdistan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. 93 minutes into the match, Robert Percha notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær. Alaaddin Solskjær was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alaaddin Solskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Percha, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Despidida AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Kurdistan's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Kurdistan.
