Marian Văduvescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niculae Podgoreanu's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Zygmunt Dunajski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Lung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Zygmunt Dunajski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Silviu Lung was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zygmunt Dunajski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Lung having to interfere. Silviu Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Barbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Niculae Podgoreanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Văduvescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niculae Podgoreanu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute Niculae Podgoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Văduvescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu got control of the ball when Niculae Podgoreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silviu Lung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Paulescu in the 22nd minute of play. Nistor Mereuță hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Niculae Podgoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Viper eSports's supporters rose to their feet, but Niculae Podgoreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Văduvescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. -BZF- Viper eSports's Silviu Lung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Stere in the 30th minute of play. Nistor Mereuță kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nicolae Barbu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Dunajski in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terry Doyle to maneuver through the defense. Niculae Podgoreanu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Niculae Podgoreanu charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niculae Podgoreanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Viper eSports's Niculae Podgoreanu got a free kick in the 64th minute. FC Steaua Pildesti were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after -BZF- Viper eSports's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zygmunt Dunajski took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Steaua Pildesti's corner Zygmunt Dunajski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silviu Lung quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Neacșu in the 68th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Stere to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 76 minutes, Niculae Podgoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -BZF- Viper eSports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niculae Podgoreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, -BZF- Viper eSports's goalkeeper Silviu Lung had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Paulescu. In the 79th minute FC Steaua Pildesti were awarded a corner. Zygmunt Dunajski went to the cornerflag to take it. Silviu Lung was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicolae Barbu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 95 minute of play.
