The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dan Wennerqvist. Dan Wennerqvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 19th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Zonta. A determined Emanuel Lucila managed in the 23rd minute to get himself all alone with Soroca F.C.'s defense, but despite getting through the defense fighting Dan Wennerqvist only he managed to shoot the ball outside the top right corner. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Tino in the 25th minute of play. When Adrián Espadas came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Soroca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Espadas couldn't finish the play. Dan Wennerqvist made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Dinu Ivănescu sent off a good shot on target. Dan Wennerqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinu Ivănescu's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Ivănescu in the 35th minute of the match. Adrián Espadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco got a free kick in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrián Espadas was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Michael Corleone got a free kick in the 51st minute. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Tartalo in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner. Gustavo Tartalo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gustavo Tartalo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse did a great save. 55 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Despidida AFC's Kajetan Gdowik was substituted for Pastor Tino. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond was substituted for Emiliano Velasco. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the Despidida AFC and the Soroca F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94thth minute of the game Alvaro Raymond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
