In the 2nd minute Ulysses Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Adrián Espadas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lee Kerr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kemalettin Torhan in the 9th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Clapham Comets F.C. defense, Amador Venceslao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lee Kerr. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lee Kerr should have stopped the shot. Lee Kerr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordanis Karatzaferis in the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Lee Kerr got control of the ball when Hernan Lano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Soroca F.C. got a corner. Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustavo Tartalo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Soroca F.C.'s Gustavo Tartalo to fire away a dangerous shot which Lee Kerr despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adrián Espadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Kerr having to interfere. Ulysses Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dan Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Lano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lee Kerr came out and tried to block the shot, but Hernan Lano slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Bale in the 35th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lee Kerr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernan Lano in the 39th minute. Lee Kerr made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Gustavo Tartalo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Clapham Comets F.C. getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jonathan Willetts hit a great ball. Gustavo Tartalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lee Kerr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Tartalo ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulysses Madureira was the one to do the kick off. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Madureira in the 58th minute of play. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulysses Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Adrián Espadas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. The throw-in from Shaun Purkiss in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Soroca F.C.'s Cyprien Combaz. Lee Kerr came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula. But to his dismay, Răzvan Necula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Soroca F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Jonathan Willetts scored to the left of an out of position Dan Wennerqvist, making the score, 5-1. Bünyamin Başel made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jonathan Willetts. Lee Kerr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordanis Karatzaferis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Necula came free, but Lee Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Willetts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kemalettin Torhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Clapham Comets F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Soroca F.C.. Natalio Mazuste stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lee Kerr. 6-1. Soroca F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Clapham Comets F.C. for a fine match.
