In the 13th minute, Tomasz Czajka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Tomasz Czajka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute Max Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Tomasz Czajka notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 29 minutes of play, Nykvarn's Harald Specht made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Di Lullo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomasz Czajka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Specht, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Aurelio Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Czajka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Max Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Aurelio Di Lullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Specht, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 47 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Cabrini. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Attilio Fortunato was the one to do the kick off. Aurelio Di Lullo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomasz Czajka showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 55 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Harald Specht kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelio Di Lullo. That made the score 0-6 in the 61 minute of play. The Nykvarn fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Nykvarn's Harald Specht looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Gunnarsson in the 69th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Alfonso Bottone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Bozzelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Czajka in the 82nd minute of play. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Czajka in the 86th minute of play. In the 94th minute Tomasz Czajka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Nykvarn could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Valdieri throughout the match.
