In the 10th minute Gustaw Nienajadlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Caranfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Vettori's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Ovidiu Caranfil skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ovidiu Caranfil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaw Nienajadlo in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's Ştefan Panțuru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radowit Ptaszek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ştefan Panțuru struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Radowit Ptaszek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Vertigo. 23 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Vettori came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Vettori in the 25th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Ştefan Panțuru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Vertigo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ovidiu Caranfil made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Gustaw Nienajadlo sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 47 minutes, Attilio Mazzone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cesate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attilio Mazzone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ştefan Panțuru made a kick off. The supporters of Cesate booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Panțuru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidiu Caranfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Vettori in the 52nd minute of play. Gustaw Nienajadlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ovidiu Caranfil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Cesate's Felice Frezza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidiu Caranfil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cesate's Kay Stormlund was substituted for Angelo Ferraris. Ovidiu Caranfil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 74 minutes into the match, Cesate's Angelo Vettori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidiu Caranfil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Nienajadlo came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Gustaw Nienajadlo made a precise shot to the right of Ovidiu Caranfil. Club Vertigo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 83 minutes into the match, Ştefan Panțuru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radowit Ptaszek. Cesate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ştefan Panțuru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Angelo Vettori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Caranfil having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Cesate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
