Aurelio Di Lullo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Panțuru in the 20th minute. Club Vertigo's Damian Tirulescu suffered a sore thigh after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Attilio Fortunato charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Attilio Fortunato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Club Vertigo made a substitution. Daniel Chirea replaced Damian Tirulescu. The referee ignored Valdieri's protests and gave Alessandro Mascitti a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Jun Bo in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Club Vertigo's Well-Well Benne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Vertigo. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Emanuele Ranieri got a free kick in the 41st minute. Well-Well Benne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aurelio Di Lullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Benne in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ştefan Panțuru in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Di Lullo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Panțuru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Di Lullo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute Well-Well Benne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Well-Well Benne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Aurelio Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuele Ranieri during the 85th minute.
