Zhao Sen Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Caranfil made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidiu Caranfil. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Zhao Sen Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidiu Caranfil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhao Sen Yang went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zhao Sen Yang to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Wang Jun Bo. 52 minutes into the game, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidiu Caranfil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Zhao Sen Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Caranfil was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Club Vertigo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Pandele was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. In the 82nd minute of the match, He Feng Bin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivan Chiuzbaian was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Caranfil saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. Well-Well Benne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Chiuzbaian having to interfere. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emilian Moți was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Vertigo's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalie and right to Well-Well Benne. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Vertigo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
