An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Grau in the 7th minute of play forced Nychyporivka Ψ's goalkeeper Dan Junilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Junilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Grau, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Primitivo Grau made a precise shot to the right of Dan Junilă. Nychyporivka Ψ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dan Junilă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Sen Yang in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Junilă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Nychyporivka Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but Dan Junilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Grigore Maghiran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Junilă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Zhao Sen Yang might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Junilă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 41 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Dan Junilă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the game, Hasan Özpolat threw the ball into play from the sideline. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Dacian Tilea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dan Junilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhao Sen Yang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Dacian Tilea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhao Sen Yang got free with Dan Junilă in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute Lucas Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhao Sen Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Junilă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Nychyporivka Ψ's Dan Junilă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Nychyporivka Ψ from getting a goal against them. Zhao Sen Yang's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dan Junilă firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lucas Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Mugurel Pandele replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. Dan Junilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, Nychyporivka Ψ's Dan Junilă got control of the ball when Zhao Sen Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dacian Tilea kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Nychyporivka Ψ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Zhao Sen Yang scored to the left of an out of position Dan Junilă, making the score, 0-6.
