The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Paolo Caradaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Fenomeno came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Kinell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Chiriac to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Chiriac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Kinell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Michel Kinell was a little too slow when Mugur Chiriac got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-6. Club Atlético Atlanta played a much better game than Nykvarn and deserved their victory. The Nykvarn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
