FC Koper's Bine Šercelj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Pirmin in the 36th minute of play. Urbano Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bine Šercelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Pirmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bine Šercelj having to interfere. In the 43rdth minute of the game Modesto Pirmin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Koper's Bine Šercelj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Urbano Checa might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bine Šercelj. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Checa ran back to his position shaking his head.

After some careless play in the FC Koper defense, Modesto Pirmin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bine Šercelj. The FC Koper fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bine Šercelj should have stopped the shot. Bine Šercelj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Pirmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 83rd minute, Claudio Brkić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Sauveur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bine Šercelj having to make a save. A collision led to Internet XAire getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Serafino Fernandez hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Internet XAire walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
