Vute Baliev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Skott in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute Tommy Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vute Baliev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Broberg kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Kjell-Arne Skott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. During the 36th minute of the match Zebastian Larsfält completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zebastian Larsfält a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 37th match minute, Ronnys Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zebastian Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th match minute, Ronnys Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Esbjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Ahlrot's late challenge caught a DARAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrik Ahlrot helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ronnys Lärjungar's Patrik Ahlrot got a free kick in the 40th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toni Nenchev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kåre Mattsson during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 57 minutes, Tommy Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ronnys Lärjungar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Beck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Patrik Ahlrot was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. The supporters of DARAS booed when Ronnys Lärjungar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Ahlrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvin Bruhn came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov. But to his dismay, Gonzo Ivanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of DARAS booed when Ronnys Lärjungar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Butter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, George Esbjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ronnys Lärjungar's supporters rose to their feet, but George Esbjörnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vute Baliev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Volodya Biradzhiev hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Tommy Beck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvin Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Rossi in the 77th minute of play. Gonzo Ivanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Bruhn having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ronnys Lärjungar defense, Gonzo Ivanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvin Bruhn. The Ronnys Lärjungar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvin Bruhn should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Rossi to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Ronnys Lärjungar's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzo Ivanov came free, but Edvin Bruhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Nedyalko Berberov. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antim Karamanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Paolo Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DARAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
