The tension between the Black Rose 1979 and the Inter de Chillán players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Inter de Chillán booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonza Montiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Luis Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Luis Alfaro in the 6th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Basilio Dragicevic successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Bladi during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Francisco Lacunza made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Iraitz. Black Rose 1979's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Celedonio Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Luis Alfaro in the 21st minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Inter de Chillán's Paulo Brotfeld made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Iraitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute, Cristo Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Llope came free, but Basilio Dragicevic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Marcos Soto charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Soto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, one of Inter de Chillán:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inter de Chillán. Basilio Dragicevic went to the wrong direction when Cristo Furtado was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Basilio Dragicevic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Llope in the 58th minute of play. Basilio Dragicevic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Llope's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Gonza Montiel was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gonza Montiel hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A hard shot 62 in the game by Juan Luis Alfaro from a close distance when the talented Celedonio Iraitz managed to make a qualified save. Black Rose 1979's players were relieved. Juan Luis Alfaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Celedonio Iraitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Juan Luis Alfaro took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Celedonio Iraitz to make any attempt to save it. Celedonio Iraitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Luis Alfaro in the 71st minute of the match. Celedonio Iraitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Luis Alfaro in the 75th minute. If Maximiliano Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute, Cristo Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85th play minutes Francisco Lacunza shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Celedonio Iraitz and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 95th minute, Amado Mas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's Cristo Furtado broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Maximiliano Dalmu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Basilio Dragicevic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
