A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mario Rivero hit a great ball. Luciano Tinoco hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When Jorge Martxot came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Academia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Martxot couldn't finish the play. After 7 minutes, Zeca Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BRASIL.Sp and the Academia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zeca Rosado hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Gildo Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Ugutz in the 9th minute of the match. Ian Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute of the match Anibal Ugutz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gildo Nogueira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emerson Barbosa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Otávio Urbano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BRASIL.Sp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia FC the free kick. Gildo Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Martxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Vasco made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Zeca Rosado sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the BRASIL.Sp defense, Jorge Martxot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gildo Nogueira. The BRASIL.Sp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gildo Nogueira should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Gildo Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Martxot in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by BRASIL.Sp's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anibal Ugutz was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Academia FC's corner Anibal Ugutz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gildo Nogueira quite easily take care of the ball. Jorge Martxot did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Gildo Nogueira 56 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Zeca Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Iker Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo de Salles in the 68th minute of the match. Anibal Ugutz might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gildo Nogueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anibal Ugutz ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mario Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Vasco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Academia FC's Conrado Gutxi got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Jean Simões cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Iker Vasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerônimo de Salles during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Academia FC booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball.
