With a little luck, BRASIL.Sp's Gildo Nogueira got control of the ball when Sidnei Dionísio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerônimo de Salles hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 45 minutes, Joaquim Valladares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BRASIL.Sp and the 卡納里尼奧 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BRASIL.Sp getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Joaquim Valladares hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Gildo Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Damasceno in the 54th minute of the match. Agostinho Guedes took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gildo Nogueira. Gildo Nogueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Abel Vidal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gildo Nogueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute Elias Damasceno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gildo Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the BRASIL.Sp defense, Severino da Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gildo Nogueira. The BRASIL.Sp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gildo Nogueira should have stopped the shot.
