Claudinho Falcão really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Westbam's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Laskowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Romero. Mariusz Wejta charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariusz Wejta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Westbam's Mariusz Wejta got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Danilo Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Maziarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerzy Maziarski got free with Danilo Garcia in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Claudinho Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Laskowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jerzy Maziarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the game, Cafu de Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceilândia Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Westbam the free kick. In the 80th minute, Jerzy Maziarski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Wladyslaw Laskowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Alves's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Jerzy Maziarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 minutes, Adelino França mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ceilândia Futebol Clube and the Westbam players grew even worse after the yellow card. Westbam's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
