After a rather tough play, Ronnys Lärjungar's Allan Jakobsson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Edvin Bruhn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mitar Drobnič in the 4th minute. Bine Šercelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Skott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mitar Drobnič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Edvin Bruhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvin Bruhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Saje, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes, Luka Saje mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Koper and the Ronnys Lärjungar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when FC Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Saje didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Tommy Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bine Šercelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marino Gregorič during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Koper's Marino Gregorič got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 25 minutes, Kjell-Arne Skott made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Koper's Bine Šercelj tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes, Kjell-Arne Skott made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. After the first half Ronnys Lärjungar were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kjell-Arne Skott made the kick off in the second half. Bine Šercelj made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Kjell-Arne Skott sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when FC Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Džerfi Škrinjar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bine Šercelj was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Patrik Ahlrot. In the 56th play minute Kjell-Arne Skott came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bine Šercelj. 0-3. 59 minutes into the game, Mato Podlogar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Koper's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ronnys Lärjungar the free kick. Luka Saje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Bruhn having to interfere. Bine Šercelj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Skott, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Kjell-Arne Skott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bine Šercelj made a huge save. The long shot by Bertil Harlén in the 70th minute really tested Bine Šercelj's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bine Šercelj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell-Arne Skott's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Ronnys Lärjungar's Sverker Björk was substituted for Tommy Beck. In the 82nd match minute, FC Koper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Marš to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Koper's zone, Patrik Ahlrot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bine Šercelj came out of the goal and Patrik Ahlrot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Koper's Bine Šercelj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Skott in the 86th minute of play. The Ronnys Lärjungar fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Ronnys Lärjungar's Kjell-Arne Skott looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Georgij Jakopič kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, FC Koper's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Skott came free, but Bine Šercelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Ahlrot let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 94th minute shot 0-6 at rihgt post. The FC Koper fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ronnys Lärjungar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
