The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juan Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Porfirio in the 3rd minute of play. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Raúl Amuchástegui in the 7th minute of play. Ezequiel Barco hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Juan Giraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Porfirio in the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Isias in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Giraldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lázaro Colon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Raúl Amuchástegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Forever Tango were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Juniors FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Indar Campon took the corner. Juan Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes Forever Tango's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Uriel Isias who took care of the corner kick. Omar Santo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Lázaro Colon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 38 minutes in the game, Christopher Bailey fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lázaro Colon having to interfere. Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Lepper in the 41st minute of play. Uriel Isias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Juan Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Lázaro Colon made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uriel Isias to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Juan Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Nicanor Porfirio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Giraldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Isias came free, but Juan Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kami Glik kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco was substituted for Uriel Isias. Juniors FC's Jerzy Piszczor was substituted for Daniel Loi. Forever Tango's Danilo Montel was substituted for Juan Raúl Amuchástegui. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Forever Tango's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enrique Frasco was slow to take the kick. During this time Juniors FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Juniors FC's corner Wlodzimierz Lepper fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Giraldo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 74th minute, Enrique Frasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Giraldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lázaro Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Senio in the 80th minute of play. Nicanor Porfirio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Juan Giraldo made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Christopher Bailey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reynaldo Vimaro made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cui Zheng immediately put the ball in play. In the 87th minute, Enrique Frasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juniors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Reynaldo Vimaro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Juniors FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
