The audience was convinced that Xurxo Lagunas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genílson Dante was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xurxo Lagunas in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genílson Dante saved BARBARIDADE G.M. from getting behind. In the 8th minute Xurxo Lagunas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Genílson Dante successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ermegildo Delgado came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Jerônimo Moreno. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 21st minute of the match Váldson Mesquita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermegildo Delgado skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Asturcones d´la Abadía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Tormes to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Tormes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Asturcones d´la Abadía's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Moreno came free, but Ermegildo Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match BARBARIDADE G.M. got a corner. Asturcones d´la Abadía's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Váldson Mesquita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st match minute, BARBARIDADE G.M. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Tormes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Dante having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Asturcones d´la Abadía's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Moreno came free, but Ermegildo Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Asturcones d´la Abadía players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BARBARIDADE G.M. were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerônimo Moreno to strike the kick off in the second half. When Filomeno Tormes came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Asturcones d´la Abadía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Tormes couldn't finish the play. Genílson Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Tormes in the 60th minute of the match. Genílson Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xurxo Lagunas, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Moura in the 65th minute of play forced Asturcones d´la Abadía's goalkeeper Ermegildo Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
