If Armando Amarita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute of the match, Gianni Balla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernán Moyano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 18 played minutes Hamburg Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Gianluca Balla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emre Wölfle in the 19th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamburg Fighters's Dinu Bocu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Fernán Moyano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 25 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Zăvoianu came free, but Pavlos Konstantakakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Gianluca Balla made a precise shot to the right of Fernán Moyano. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s Severino Mac Rae was substituted for Hans Gulliksson. Gianluca Balla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Fernán Moyano made a huge save. Fernán Moyano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Bocu in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Dinu Bocu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s Fernán Moyano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianni Balla in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Gianni Balla fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dinu Bocus short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Fernán Moyano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dinu Bocu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s goal looked a bit too open when Gianni Balla came free, but Fernán Moyano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Gianluca Balla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernán Moyano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emre Wölfle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd match minute, ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Amarita to maneuver through the defense. Emre Wölfle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavlos Konstantakakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Fernán Moyano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianni Balla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamburg Fighters were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gianni Balla took the corner. After 91 played minutes Hamburg Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Obuchowicz. Robin Brandt, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hamburg Fighters walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
