In the 4th minute, Xinto Carreiras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Xinto Carreiras took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Martxelin. Rosendo Martxelin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Xinto Carreiras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Martxelin having to make a save. Teodelina FC's Rosendo Martxelin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xinto Carreiras in the 18th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Xinto Carreiras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rosendo Martxelin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Máximo Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Houseman in the 39th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Rene Houseman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Máximo Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Teodelina FC's Jaime Roland got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Jaime Roland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Xinto Carreiras got free with Rosendo Martxelin in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodelina FC's Severiano Feliu was substituted for Damaso Chorache. Teodelina FC made a substitution. Marnix Harmannus replaced Jonathan Calixto. Máximo Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marnix Harmannus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute of the game Braulio Osoro made a throw-in which Fernando Hermon played forward. Xinto Carreiras struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Rosendo Martxelin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Buceo. Osorio Esoin fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 77th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. 84 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Marnix Harmannus came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máximo Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Hermon in the 95th minute of play. The Sporting Buceo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sporting Buceo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
