After 21 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein. After having played for 23 minutes, Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Well-Well Junior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Gernando Azevedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ludomil Ziomkowski. Gernando Azevedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ruy Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ruy Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 40th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Xande Campbell came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Los Andes FC - FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso da Cunha made a kick off. Ruy Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 51st minute of the match. The corner led CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Well-Well Junior to fire away a dangerous shot which Ruy Montenegro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xande Campbell took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Afonso da Cunha drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Luís Paulo do Nascimento was substituted for Arjen Robben. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos-Henrique Casemiro in the 66th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu do Nascimento in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Ludomil Ziomkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breno Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
