Jorge Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Mattos in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Cristóvão Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paranhos Ariranha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Loyola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão Mattos in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Loyola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute Paranhos Ariranha FC were awarded a corner. João Francisco Fontes went to the cornerflag to take it. Jorge Loyola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristóvão Mattos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristóvão Mattos to make the kick off. Tore-Andre Seppola hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Cipriano Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
