Andolín Dijk hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Humberto Perez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruy Montenegro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ reached it. Cipriano Sustrai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ruy Montenegro made a huge save. After 19 minutes of play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Sustrai came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruy Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hulk Zaracho in the 26th minute of the match. Jorge Loyola came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo. But to his dismay, Gernando Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 34 minutes into the match, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Jorge Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Loyola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Zaracho in the 38th minute of play. When Fred Monteiro came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Monteiro couldn't finish the play. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulk Zaracho in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Gernando Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Loyola. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Sustrai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Jorge Loyola managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 65th minute Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Humberto Perez went to the cornerflag to take it. Hulk Zaracho was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hulk Zaracho in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 67th minute of the match. Jorge Loyola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gernando Azevedo went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Ruy Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulk Zaracho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
