Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zico Orange got the match started through his kick off. Bruno-Henrique Orange made a great header on Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's corner, it was just that ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno managed to reach the ball for a save. After 7 minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Malcolm Westerberg who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Cléber Palmeira managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Edinho Pirani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeremias Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Orange in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Radowit Dziuma threw the ball into play from the sideline. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Eusébio Orange quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Oliver Bierhoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Pirani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Zico Orange sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Moreno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Bierhoff in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edinho Pirani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Casemiro Orange managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Malcolm Westerberg in the 34 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Tepedino in the 35th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Orange hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Edinho Pirani made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Oliver Bierhoff sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Denílson Tepedino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edinho Pirani, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliver Bierhoff to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Reis. Edinho Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Edinho Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ADM Taquaras getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Daniel de Godoi hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Edinho Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zico Orange recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to ADM Taquaras getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Denílson Tepedino hit a great ball. Edinho Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casemiro Orange didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ made a substitution. Katarínus Orange replaced Zico Orange. After 72 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Casemiro Orange. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Oliver Bierhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. ADM Taquaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Bierhoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edinho Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinho Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 81st minute of play. Malcolm Westerberg made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Radowit Dziuma however managed to control. Katarínus Orange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jeremias Moreno made a huge save. Jeremias Moreno made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Katarínus Orange sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Aldair Orange hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ADM Taquaras fans cheered their team off the field, for while Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
