When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Don Lalo sped through Paranhos Ariranha FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaspar Gilesindo. Minuim SS were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Paranhos Ariranha FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benas Brazys took the corner. If Don Lalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Gaspar Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Lalo in the 42nd minute of play. Paranhos Ariranha FC's João Francisco Fontes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leonardo Da Vinci in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
