Rot-Weiss-Essen's Anestis Kotsopoulos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabrício Falcão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Martin Minchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere. In the 17th minute Martin Minchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hoffmanns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. August Hoffmanns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorkil Husig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Breckenfeld came free, but August Hoffmanns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurupeba FC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Beto Breckenfeld took the corner. In the 22nd minute, one of Rot-Weiss-Essen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rot-Weiss-Essen. August Hoffmanns had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Beto Breckenfeld's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 24th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Fabrício Falcão kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Evlogi Dzhumayski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jurupeba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evlogi Dzhumayski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Hoffmanns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The wind increased when Anestis Kotsopoulos made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Anestis Kotsopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabrício Falcão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 51 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jurupeba FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximilian Henning was slow to take the kick. During this time Rot-Weiss-Essen's players had a chance to rest. In the 55th minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Beto Breckenfeld fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Minchev in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Anestis Kotsopoulos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabrício Falcão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Minchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Anestis Kotsopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mesut Özil hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jurupeba FC made a substitution. Neymar Junior replaced Evlogi Dzhumayski. In the 77th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mesut Özil to maneuver through the defense. If Beto Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beto Breckenfeld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but August Hoffmanns made a huge save. After taking down the ball on Rot-Weiss-Essen's corner Felix Balzer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabrício Falcão quite easily take care of the ball. In the 88th minute Thorkil Husig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hoffmanns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Beto Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jurupeba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neymar Junior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but August Hoffmanns made a huge save. Betinho Mandrak hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Rot-Weiss-Essen were awarded a corner. Maximilian Henning went to the cornerflag to take it. Maximilian Henning made a great header on Rot-Weiss-Essen's corner, it was just that Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão managed to reach the ball for a save.
