In the 23rd minute of the match, Evlogi Dzhumayski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fernando Selatse was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 24 minutes Despidida AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Beto Breckenfeld who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Jurupeba FC's corner Beto Breckenfeld fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fernando Selatse quite easily take care of the ball. Fabrício Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrício Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Gdowik in the 42nd minute of play forced Jurupeba FC's goalkeeper Fabrício Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrício Falcão came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond. But to his dismay, Alvaro Raymond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half Despidida AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Raymond to make the kick off. Kajetan Gdowik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fabrício Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Beto Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabrício Falcão. Fabrício Falcão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Pastor Tino replaced Kajetan Gdowik. 64 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Breckenfeld came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurupeba FC's Kuddusî Bozok was substituted for Yahya Al Bahar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neymar Junior in the 79th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Fabrício Falcão managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorkil Husig in the 85th minute of the match. Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Jurupeba FC from getting a goal against them. Beto Breckenfeld took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Selatse. Fernando Selatse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Fabrício Falcão was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Dinu Ivănescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dinu Ivănescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6.
