One of FITO APPLE TEAM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rot-Weiss-Essen:s goal. FITO APPLE TEAM's Wawrzyniec Kaszubik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Henning in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Duarte Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FITO APPLE TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rot-Weiss-Essen booed when FITO APPLE TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Megid didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 minutes, Ingmar Stempfle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rot-Weiss-Essen and the FITO APPLE TEAM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, one of Rot-Weiss-Essen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rot-Weiss-Essen. 37 minutes into the game, Valentine Hernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. August Hoffmanns was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FITO APPLE TEAM's attentive Carlos Ramires managed to snatch the ball when Hakem Al Khames made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Wawrzyniec Kaszubik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anestis Kotsopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes FITO APPLE TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Megid.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentine Hernandez to make the kick off. Anestis Kotsopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Wawrzyniec Kaszubik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentine Hernandez in the 57th minute of play. If Valentine Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentine Hernandez couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, FITO APPLE TEAM's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Kaszubik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Helmut Malinowski. After a rather tough play, FITO APPLE TEAM's Gaueko Lemos got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When FITO APPLE TEAM's Valentine Hernandez in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
