Hernan Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baykan Erincer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Faustão Secco got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Tribbiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Iordanis Karatzaferis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Erik Huang in the 24th minute really tested Dan Wennerqvist's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Baykan Erincer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Adrián Espadas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dan Wennerqvist made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Akakios Kountouratzis sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. The supporters of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordanis Karatzaferis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Burrell in the 63rd minute of play. Nelson Oakley made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Erik Huang. Răzvan Necula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baykan Erincer having to interfere. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO made a substitution. Rod West replaced Garth Burrell. Baykan Erincer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Necula in the 76th minute of the match. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akakios Kountouratzis in the 79th minute of play. Răzvan Necula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod West, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Răzvan Necula dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baykan Erincer, 0-2. The DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Soroca F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Soroca F.C..
