Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomasz Sobania started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damazy Kensicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Newcastle United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zé Paulo Zonta in the 8th minute. The corner led to Newcastle United's Adam Pacholewski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Tomasz Sobania who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute Thomas Vollmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Kensicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's Adam Pacholewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damazy Kensicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Vollmar in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damazy Kensicki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 18th minute of play forced Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Damazy Kensicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damazy Kensicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Malicki in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes Soczewki Gliwice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Paulo Zonta who took care of the corner kick. Soczewki Gliwice's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zdzislaw Witek in the 27th minute. Imre Hellinger kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Damazy Kensicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Vollmar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Tomasz Sobania made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tomasz Sobania had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk got control of the ball when Tomasz Sobania tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomasz Sobania's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikolaj Jerzyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the game Zé Paulo Zonta made a throw-in which Pankracy Malicki played forward. Mikolaj Jerzyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Sobania's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Vollmar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Sobania in the 54th minute of the match. Tomasz Sobania took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikolaj Jerzyk. Mikolaj Jerzyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomasz Sobania in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikolaj Jerzyk saved Newcastle United from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomasz Sobania in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikolaj Jerzyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Newcastle United made a substitution. Filip Orling replaced Julian Obuchowicz. Soczewki Gliwice were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Newcastle United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zdzislaw Witek took the corner. The corner ended in Zdzislaw Witek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk did a great save. Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Soczewki Gliwice from getting a goal against them. Adam Pacholewski struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Damazy Kensicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United. Soczewki Gliwice made a substitution. Cyprian Bykowski replaced Kayhan Canfeda. Soczewki Gliwice's Jago Back was substituted for Mister Rio. Mikolaj Jerzyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Sobania's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomasz Sobania in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikolaj Jerzyk saved Newcastle United from getting behind. Tomasz Sobania struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Mikolaj Jerzyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soczewki Gliwice. Soczewki Gliwice:s Damazy Kensicki showed great skill when he stopped Zé Paulo Zonta:s penalty. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Marian Erland hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 91st minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomasz Sobania in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikolaj Jerzyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
