Westbam's Tony Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 5th minute of play. Tony Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7thth minute of the game Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westbam's Tony Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Westbam's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Ikatz came free, but Tony Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Arruda was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Inocencio Veronica successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Ikatz in the 37th minute of play forced Westbam's goalkeeper Tony Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Westbam defense, Ross Strong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Arruda. The Westbam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Arruda should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Teodoro Rocha made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Westbam's goalkeeper Tony Arruda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafaela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteban Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Esteban Ikatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Camillo Daniele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Tony Arruda made a huge save. Tony Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes of play, Rafaela FC's Ross Strong made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Westbam defense, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Arruda. The Westbam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Arruda should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Westbam's Tony Arruda. Tony Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Westbam supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rafaela FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rafaela FC.
