Marzagão's Mieszko Karanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Pello in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Leiden Spor Kulubu's goalkeeper Harry Mik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliviero Vuelta. Mieszko Karanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folkert Engelaar in the 18th minute of the match. Mieszko Karanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folkert Engelaar in the 26th minute of play. Hector Pello kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Marzagão's Oliviero Vuelta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harry Mik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

Leiden Spor Kulubu made a substitution. Dries Muskee replaced Timo Staarman. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliviero Vuelta to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Leiden Spor Kulubu's zone, Pedro Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Mik came out of the goal and Pedro Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Leiden Spor Kulubu's Dries Muskee got a free kick in the 88th minute. Harry Mik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
