The supporters of Pedrão SAF booed when INGOBERNABLE F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Martínez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Martin Retana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INGOBERNABLE F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Retana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, INGOBERNABLE F.C's Fidel Martínez got a free kick in the 13th minute. Martin Retana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balduíno Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Emílio Canales charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emílio Canales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pedrão SAF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Pedrão SAF's Balduíno Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Retana in the 17th minute of play. When Emílio Canales was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. In the 18th match minute, Pedrão SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Canales to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Martin Retana notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pedrão SAF's Balduíno Flores. Balduíno Flores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. INGOBERNABLE F.C's Martin Retana got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toni Akwa got a throw-in 29 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pedro Malheiro. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Balduíno Flores showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Martin Retana put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Balduíno Flores. INGOBERNABLE F.C's Martin Retana got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Freire was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Retana in the 58th minute of play forced Pedrão SAF's goalkeeper Balduíno Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Martin Retana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, Pedrão SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Retana came free, but Balduíno Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Fidel Martínez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pedrão SAF's Balduíno Flores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pedrão SAF's zone, Fidel Martínez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balduíno Flores came out of the goal and Fidel Martínez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balduíno Flores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Retana in the 77th minute. Martin Retana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Balduíno Flores having to make a save. Balduíno Flores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. INGOBERNABLE F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
