When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Benjamin da Fonseca sped through El Famoso Chupa Cabra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaspar Jerano. 12 minutes into the game, Pesqueira City's Ni Yuan Zhen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Jerano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 15 minutes into the game, Benjamin da Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gaspar Jerano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaspar Jerano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Famoso Chupa Cabra's Gaspar Jerano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Quintal in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin da Fonseca in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Jerano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamin da Fonseca scored 0-4 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Jerano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pesqueira City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Sebastião Quintal struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gaspar Jerano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pesqueira City. Benjamin da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Dabi during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gaspar Jerano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Sebastião Quintal suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 38 minutes, Lorenzo Sotil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Famoso Chupa Cabra and the Pesqueira City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pesqueira City's Luiz Pesquera was substituted for Sebastião Quintal. Lorenzo Sotil hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Famoso Chupa Cabra's goalkeeper Gaspar Jerano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Pesquera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Jerano having to interfere. Gaspar Jerano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 45th minute of play. Gaspar Jerano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Benjamin da Fonseca notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of El Famoso Chupa Cabra's Gaspar Jerano. Gaspar Jerano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 56 in the game by Luiz Pesquera from a close distance when the talented Gaspar Jerano managed to make a qualified save. El Famoso Chupa Cabra's players were relieved. Gaspar Jerano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin da Fonseca went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Pesquera got free with Gaspar Jerano in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Pesquera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Gaspar Jerano made a huge save. In the 63rd match minute, El Famoso Chupa Cabra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Loramendi to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Famoso Chupa Cabra fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Benjamin da Fonseca scored 0-8 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Jerano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Jerano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Pesqueira City's Gaspar Jerano threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin da Fonseca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 73rd minute Pesqueira City were awarded a corner. Ionuț Iniesta went to the cornerflag to take it. Pesqueira City's Ionuț Iniesta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gaspar Jerano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Pesqueira City fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 80th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Jerano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. In the 82nd minute, Albano Carlomagno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Jerano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 84 minutes of play, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Jerano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 minutes El Famoso Chupa Cabra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ionuț Iniesta who took care of the corner kick. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gaspar Jerano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the El Famoso Chupa Cabra defense, Benjamin da Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Jerano. The El Famoso Chupa Cabra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Jerano should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pesqueira City's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Jerano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pesqueira City's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Jerano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Pesqueira City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Famoso Chupa Cabra throughout the match.
