George Gordon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mateo Palacio might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Gordon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Palacio ran back to his position shaking his head. George Gordon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's Kevin Dunbar got a free kick in the 25th minute. George Gordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Palacio in the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Czeslaw Pawlak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zjem Cię's supporters crossed their fingers, but Czeslaw Pawlak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's George Gordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Palacio in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Mateo Palacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. George Gordon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Zjem Cię were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Palacio was the one to do the kick off. When the match had been going on for 52 minutes, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of George Gordon. If Mateo Palacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zjem Cię's Ciriaco Emenon was substituted for Tolek Wojtyna. George Gordon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Palacio in the 61st minute. Mateo Palacio's late challenge caught a Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Palacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Gordon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Gordon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zjem Cię's Lino Orešar was substituted for Jim Morrison. After a defensive mix-up in Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's zone, Mateo Palacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Gordon came out of the goal and Mateo Palacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Gordon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zjem Cię were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
