Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Epifanio Demesio started the match with the kick off. If Epifanio Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th minute Nemesio Astrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Billock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christer Runeberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gastona FC's Ciriaco Ignazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Runeberg in the 9th minute of play. When Ernesto Salvatore came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Gastona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Salvatore couldn't finish the play. Dick Billock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Rayman went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the V. Berga defense, Nemesio Astrada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dick Billock. The V. Berga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dick Billock should have stopped the shot. Nemesio Astrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dick Billock having to interfere. In the 24th minute Epifanio Demesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Billock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dick Billock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Ilazki in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Epifanio Demesio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gastona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Demesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 27 played minutes Gastona FC got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Pero. After 28 played minutes, V. Berga's Patrik Termander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciriaco Ignazio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in V. Berga reached it. In the 30th match minute, V. Berga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Karlsson to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Ignazio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Runeberg in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Gastona FC booed when V. Berga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Termander kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Clemente Rayman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dick Billock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Ciriaco Ignazio came out of the goal and Torgny Askberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 played minutes V. Berga got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Tinglöf. In the 45th minute, Clemente Rayman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and V. Berga's Dick Billock didn't even have to move. The V. Berga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gastona FC were winning 0-2.
Dick Billock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Rayman in the 52nd minute of the match. If Epifanio Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Örjan Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Clemente Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pascual Danel might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dick Billock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascual Danel ran back to his position shaking his head. Christer Runeberg kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Nemesio Astrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dick Billock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Salvatore charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Salvatore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gastona FC's Ernesto Salvatore got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ciriaco Ignazio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torgny Askberg's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Christer Runeberg kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Askberg in the 80th minute of play forced Gastona FC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Ignazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Rayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in V. Ciriaco Ignazio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Askberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Gastona FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
