After 12 played minutes Real Magrid got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Pensa. Birol Kuluk struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Fabiano De Matteis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oscar Wilde. Fabiano De Matteis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkem Oytunç in the 15th minute of play. Boran Öztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Lazzaro in the 15th minute of play. Enzo Lazzaro scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boran Öztan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Orhan Atacan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boran Öztan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boran Öztan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Lazzaro in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Real Magrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Ucci to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Real Magrid getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alberigo Ucci hit a great ball. Frank Puddu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Real Magrid's Fabiano De Matteis got control of the ball when Kıraç Arslantürk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabiano De Matteis made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Kıraç Arslantürk sent off a good shot on target. If Amedeo Angelucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Real Magrid got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Anastasi. Fabiano De Matteis made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Kıraç Arslantürk sent off a good shot on target. The Oscar Wilde players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Magrid were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Ali Orhan Atacan made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Real Magrid's Fabrizio Anastasi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Fabiano De Matteis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Orhan Atacan in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ali Orhan Atacan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano De Matteis was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Frank Puddu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Boran Öztan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Orhan Atacan in the 72nd minute of play forced Real Magrid's goalkeeper Fabiano De Matteis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Berkem Oytunç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano De Matteis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Oscar Wilde's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Lazzaro came free, but Boran Öztan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Real Magrid walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
