Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gordon Haas got the match started through his kick off. Gordon Haas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gordon Haas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Erik Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drew Shultz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zebastian Drewitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Drew Shultz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Runeberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew Shultz having to interfere. São Paulo Futebol Clube's Keenan Lusk got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. V. Berga's Dick Billock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Haas in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match São Paulo Futebol Clube got a corner. V. Berga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Keenan Lusk ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Mel Ford heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keenan Lusk in the 34th minute of play forced V. Berga's goalkeeper Dick Billock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drew Shultz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Helström, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Helström made a kick off. São Paulo Futebol Clube's Drew Shultz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Runeberg in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the São Paulo Futebol Clube defense, Björn Heggert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Drew Shultz. The São Paulo Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Drew Shultz should have stopped the shot. Drew Shultz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Runeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Runeberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alan Santana fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Paulo Futebol Clube's protests and gave Alan Santana a yellow card for diving instead. Christer Runeberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew Shultz having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Björn Heggert notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of São Paulo Futebol Clube's Drew Shultz. Drew Shultz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. São Paulo Futebol Clube's Nick Vazquez was substituted for Gordon Haas. Drew Shultz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Helström in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Björn Heggert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Thomas Tinglöf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. V. Berga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Paulo Futebol Clube the free kick. Thomas Tinglöf hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When Keenan Lusk came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the São Paulo Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keenan Lusk couldn't finish the play. Nick Vazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Göransson charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Göransson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. São Paulo Futebol Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
