Ivar Hegg kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot V. Berga's keeper Dick Billock was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 5th minute of the match Nel Hagens BK got a corner. V. Berga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sören Svartengren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ivar Hegg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dick Billock came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivar Hegg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Dick Billock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Billing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ola Karlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ola Karlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, V. Berga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfons Grubb to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Erik Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Västerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Västerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Runeberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zebastian Drewitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Västerberg having to interfere. If Erik Helström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfons Grubb kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes V. Berga got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Drewitz. George Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the game, Nils Billing recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dick Billock. Nils Billing showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Ivar Hegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ivar Hegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. V. Berga's Dick Billock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Bergvall in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Helström made a kick off. Christer Runeberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Marc Västerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Arvidsson scored 5-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dick Billock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivar Hegg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dick Billock having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, V. Berga's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Billing came free, but Dick Billock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Nel Hagens BK's Sven Bergvall made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dick Billock was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 71 minutes, Sven Bergvall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nel Hagens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven Bergvall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rickard Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dick Billock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rickard Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Ivar Hegg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dick Billock was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Nils Billing managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nel Hagens BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Billing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dick Billock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Arvidsson's late challenge caught a V. Berga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Arvidsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of V. Berga booed when Nel Hagens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dick Billock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Arvidsson's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. V. Berga's Dick Billock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Hegg in the 94th minute of play. Sven Bergvall struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Dick Billock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nel Hagens BK. Nel Hagens BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
