When Sven Nordkvist came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the spikarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Nordkvist couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Göran Cane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Norberg was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Kaj Hård left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaj Hård to make the kick off. Göran Cane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Lars Norberg made a huge save. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Göran Cane got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Nordkvist came free, but Linus Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
