In the 20th minute, Argyris Papapetrou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Beck in the 26th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Carlos Alberto Tevez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Bergqvist in the 77th minute of play. National Team Cape-Verde's Yin Yang Wei managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lukas Hallgren in the 84 minute of the game. In the 88th minute Roland Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıza Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Argyris Papapetrou reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pål Sefastsson. The goal made the score 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. National Team Cape-Verde had played much better football throughout.
