With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaj Hård in the 17th managed to get into a good position. The referee ignored Vykans Vikingar's protests and gave Abdi Revis a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Revis. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mats Hermansson during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mats Hermansson hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaj Hård made a kick off. Hugo Eden kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Kaj Hård could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. Hílton Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars Norberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Vykans Vikingar's Christoffer Johansson was substituted for Hugo Eden. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Tage Glanselius got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. spikarna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
