The audience was convinced that John Bratt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Springfält was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Alvar Arvidsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunnar Hellström. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvar Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Ekegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Bratt to make the kick off. Adrian Springfält made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şenel Zeval in the 55th minute. Adrian Springfält had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jürgen Trittin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Gustafsson in the 74th minute of play forced Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Alvar Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kattvik kings's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alvar Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. SJÖARED were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Kattvik kings's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roger Bålström took the corner. The corner ended in Gunnar Hellström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kattvik kings's Alvar Arvidsson did a great save. Urban Rudberg hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 92 minutes in the game, Jürgen Trittin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adrian Springfält having to interfere. Alvar Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Qvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kattvik kings eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
