Wargön's Sören Tunberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Wargön from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Wargön's Mikael Liberatore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lars Norberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute Mikael Liberatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute Wargön were awarded a corner. Bayan Baye went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the spikarna defense, Mikael Liberatore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Norberg. The spikarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Norberg should have stopped the shot. If Mikael Liberatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Liberatore in the 19th minute of play. Mikael Liberatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Liberatore came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Mikael Liberatore notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of spikarna's Lars Norberg. Lars Norberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Mikael Liberatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Norberg was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After the first half Wargön were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikael Liberatore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Lars Norberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sune Offendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Sören Tunberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The spikarna fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wargön were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
