Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Niklas Lundqvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Björklund came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Basso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Björklund in the 2nd minute of play. Pål Sefastsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niklas Lundqvist went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pål Sefastsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 9th minute. 15 minutes in the game Johannes Stenqvist did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bennvar Post. In the 16th match minute, The Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Andreasson to maneuver through the defense. Niklas Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Sefastsson having to interfere. Marcos Basso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Post in the 20th minute of play. Gelu Plopșor kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. It was beautiful to see National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander in action when he in the 24th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Melander in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Niklas Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save National Team Cape-Verde from getting a goal against them. Bennvar Post might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Basso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bennvar Post ran back to his position shaking his head. Herbert Holmgren struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Pål Sefastsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Shadows. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save National Team Cape-Verde from getting a goal against them. After 43 played minutes The Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Bo á Bø. In the 44th minute, Gelu Plopșor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredric Melander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Alberto Tevez made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's Carlos Alberto Tevez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Basso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Shadows's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fredric Melander was slow to take the kick. During this time National Team Cape-Verde's players had a chance to rest. National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Basso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Lundqvist in the 67th minute of the match. Roland Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The Shadows made a substitution. Pawel Gibowski replaced Bo á Bø. The supporters of The Shadows booed when National Team Cape-Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Björklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelu Plopșor kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Tevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Basso having to interfere. Marcos Basso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Basso saved The Shadows from getting behind. Niklas Lundqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pål Sefastsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklas Lundqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by National Team Cape-Verde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herbert Holmgren was slow to take the kick. During this time The Shadows's players had a chance to rest. Carlos Alberto Tevez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Marcos Basso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 86 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Bergqvist came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Niklas Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 90th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Klas Bergqvist notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of The Shadows's Marcos Basso. Marcos Basso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Klas Bergqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Basso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.
