The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Cane came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Cane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Lars Norberg made a huge save. Linus Ahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atakan Pepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Linus Ahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Hård in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göran Cane in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Norberg saved spikarna from getting behind. Linus Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Nordkvist in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Björn Andberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Cane, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Olof Hamnberg hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Tore Svartström was substituted for Elliott Malmberg. Lars Norberg made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Göran Cane sent off a good shot on target. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Linus Ahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atakan Pepe in the 27th minute of play. spikarna's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Göran Cane 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 46th minute of the match Björn Andberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars Norberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Göran Cane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Kvalfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lars Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Thiago Castelao was substituted for Tomas Kvalfält. Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Villiam Marklund replaced Tore Svartström. A collision led to Svartvallstjärnens IF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Edvin Lindholm hit a great ball. When Göran Cane came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Svartvallstjärnens IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Cane couldn't finish the play. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Cane in the 75th minute of play. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Svartvallstjärnens IF's Göran Cane looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Göran Cane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Linus Ahlquist made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Kaj Hård sent off a good shot on target. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Cane in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Göran Cane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while spikarna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
