The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Cane got free with Brazilio Butt in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save DIF LEEDS BK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt got control of the ball when Göran Cane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Svartvallstjärnens IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Björn Andberg in the 16th minute. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Svartvallstjärnens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor-Ivar Storm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ulf Nordlander notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Svartvallstjärnens IF's Linus Ahlquist. Linus Ahlquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Dan Verhoeven. In the 40th minute, Tomas Kvalfält hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Göran Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svartvallstjärnens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Göran Cane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brazilio Butt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Göran Cane was the one to do the kick off. Jerry Jonasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Linus Ahlquist made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Cane in the 53rd minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Cane in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tor-Ivar Storm came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Edvin Lindholm got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 65 minutes of play, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Tomas Kvalfält made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brazilio Butt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Svartvallstjärnens IF's Villiam Marklund was substituted for Tore Svartström. If Karl-Åke Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerry Jonasson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Ljusberg came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the DIF LEEDS BK defense, Mats Ljusberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brazilio Butt. The DIF LEEDS BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brazilio Butt should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Mats Ljusberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brazilio Butt was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, Mats Ljusberg notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt. Brazilio Butt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 86 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Ljusberg came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jerry Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Mats Ljusberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svartvallstjärnens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Ljusberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brazilio Butt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Svartvallstjärnens IF were the better team. Svartvallstjärnens IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
