In the 42nd minute, Merih Demiral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludwig Modig kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pepe Argento to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Ludwig Modig suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Júlio Munhoz charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júlio Munhoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Wargön got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Munhoz. In the 75th minute, Wargön's Mikael Liberatore ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivan Drago.
