With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Gunnarsson saved Rönnöfors FF from getting behind. Andreas Lindqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 10th minute of play. Per Stenberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Lindqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Henry Fagerberg scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Lindqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Andreas Lindqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Fagerberg. After 17 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Eden. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sten Hökqvist during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Hökqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mutumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Souza. In the 46th minute of the match Per Stenberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andreas Lindqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Jose Indalecio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vykans Vikingar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rönnöfors FF the free kick. In the 47th minute, Jose Indalecio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Vykans Vikingar were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Rönnöfors FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernan Berart took the corner. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vykans Vikingar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
